Position Overview

The COLLABORATION PRACTICE ARCHITECT works closely with sales and engineering resources to insure implemented solutions match the intended solution design. The COLLABORATION PRACTICE ARCHITECT is responsible for identifying additional opportunities with Enterprise customers. The COLLABORATION PRACTICE ARCHITECT works with the Solutions Architects to address discrepancies or suggest enhancements to design proposals and statements of work prior to customer review.  The Collaboration Practice Architect works with the Collaboration Practice Director to build process, procedure, and documentation in order to scale the practice. The COLLABORATION PRACTICE ARCHITECT works with the Collaboration Delivery Team to insure customer implementations are completed on-time and within budget for implementation activities with Enterprise customers.  The Collaboration Practice Architect is responsible for identifying and evaluating technology partners and opportunities for continuing education for Collaboration Engineers.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manages the implementation of Enterprise projects closed by the sales team, prioritizing efforts based on maximizing time to implement and customer service
  • Proactively assesses solutions and current trends in light of changing customer requirements
  • Collaborates with sales, service, and engineering resources to insure implemented projects accurately address customer needs
  • Develops post sale implementation guides and documentation for knowledge transfer
  • Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and pre-sales engineering resources for solution design and implementation services
  • Proactively pursues key certifications in areas relative to the company’s current product specializations
  • Develops Collaboration Practice documentation to improve and codify best practices for sales, implementation, and support phases of deployment.
  • Participate and attend industry events as it relates to the Collaboration Practice in order to contribute to internal strategies and the growth of the Collaboration Practice.

Job Requirements and Skillsets

  • Cisco CCIE Certification in Voice or Collaboration or equivalent experience
  • Multiple CCIE Certifications are a plus
  • Relevant Degrees: Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering
  • Must have deployment and support experience with the following technologies:
    • Cisco Unified Communications Solutions versions 8.X through 11.X
      • CallManager
      • IM&P (Jabber)
      • Unity Connection
    • Cisco Spark
    • Multi-cluster Deployments (ILS, Global Dial Plan Replication)
    • SME
    • Attendant Console
    • CUBE
    • Expressway
    • Cisco Unified Contract Center Express
      • Finesse
      • CRM Integrations
      • WFO/AQM
      • High Availability
      • SQL Integrations
      • Custom Reports via CUIC
    • Cisco Telepresence
    • Webex
    • Cisco UCS and VMWare
  • Experience supporting Global Enterprise customers is mandatory
  • Experience with the following technologies is desirable:
    • Prime Collaboration
    • Meraki Voice
    • Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise
    • Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business
    • Acano
