Job Overview

Cumberland Group is looking for an Inside Channel, Sales and Marketing Support person who will support our Florida office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Make a high volume of cold calls on a daily basis - telemarketing
  • Assist with day to day Sales Support needs and requests
  • Assist with day to day marketing needs and requests
  • Following up with prospects, event attendees, etc via phone and email
  • Documenting of current and future IT vendor certification requirements
  • Develop a complete understanding of the vendor registration and partner portal process
  • Assist with quote and proposal preparations
  • Assist with vendor, marketing, customer and prospect database updates
  • Minimum Sales quota

 

Requirements:

  • Comfortable making a high volume of phone calls per day
  • IT Vendor Product Knowledge
  • Excellent follow up skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills; both oral and written
  • Must have the demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Must be detail oriented;
  • Must be a good communicator and be able to interact well with both the Sales team and the customer;
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook
  • Must have the ability to learn new software programs, such as Salesforce.com
  • 3-5 years of Sales, Channel and/or Support experience preferred
