Position Overview
Information Security Solutions Architect insures that correct technical solutions are delivered to our customers which are in line with our strategy, direction of Information Security initiatives.  This individual will be able to understand business requirements and design and implement solutions that helps shape our clients’ response to evolving security threats. This position will be required to contribute to the information security practice growth to be able to promote existing partnerships and develop new product and services opportunities.  This position will be involved with both pre-sales and post-sales support. They will work closely with cross functional business areas and IT groups.

Essential Job Functions

• Understand current and future client needs in the context of the security marketplace as well as client industry dynamics and apply insights to recommend short/long-term value creation for clients that have the appropriate level of impact
• Understand business direction of companies and create optimized security strategies that meet business needs, seeking to balance defensive and responsive strategic elements.
• Communicate complex technology concepts and terms to executive clients in business terms to support formulation of enterprise strategy formulation.
• Responsible for the delivery of Cumberland Group's security offerings related to infrastructure security, including network security tools integration (firewalls, N-IDS, VPN, routers, switches), Security Architecture Design, development and implementation of security technologies.
• Familiar with security frameworks, compliance requirements and security planning and operations.
• Proactively assesses solutions and current trends in light of changing customer requirements
• Collaborates with sales, service, and engineering resources to insure implemented projects accurately address customer needs
• Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and infrastructure engineering resources for solution design and implementation services
• Proactively pursues key certifications in areas relative to the company’s current product specializations

Required Skills and Experience

• Cisco CCIE Certification – Security a plus
• Familiarity with Bluecoat, Checkpoint, Cisco, Citrix, F5, ForeScout, Palo Alto Networks, and SecureAuth
• Familiarity with deception technology, identity and access management, consumer authentication, web application security, and DevOps
• Experience with Fantom (PHP and Javascript are a plus)
• Security Solutions Certifications with multiple vendors are a plus
• Customer-facing skills and professional demeanor, preferably with a good reputation in the Georgia security market
• Relevant Experience or Degrees: Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering
